PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gordon Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and todd labod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

labod gets caught flat footed, as Freeman shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
labod looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Freeman closes the distance and clinches up with labod, looking for a takedown. Freeman pushes labod against the cage but labod circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

labod stands and throws Freeman's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Freeman keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
labod throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Freeman's waist but Freeman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing labod off to one side.

todd labod comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well labod has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
