Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexey Efimov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tom Vos!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Illya Tyunina and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vos bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Efimov's head backwards.
Vos throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Efimov sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Vos throws an off balance right hand
and Efimov counters with a straight right hand.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Vos.
Efimov looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Efimov lands a body shot.
Efimov throws a quick inside leg kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Efimov.
Vos slips a jab from Efimov.
Efimov lands with a thumping leg kick.
Efimov displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Vos.
Efimov lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Tom Vos has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vos waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Efimov.

Efimov with a nice cross.
The fighters circle momentarily. Vos darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Efimov gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Efimov lands with a light punch inside.
I was talking to Efimov's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Efimov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Efimov thumps Vos with a low kick.
Efimov scores with a punch to the head.
Vos shoots in for a takedown but Efimov shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Alexey Efimov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Vos.
Efimov works Vos's body with a nice hook.
Vos takes a head kick and keeps coming.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Efimov fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Vos on the side of the head.
Efimov throws a head kick that misses.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Vos.
An attempted straight right counter from Efimov misses the target.
Efimov takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Efimov dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Vos manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Efimov on his heels. He'll look to pass Efimov's guard now, I'm sure.
Efimov wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Vos manages to pass to side control.
Vos tries to pass the half guard into mount. Efimov knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Vos maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Efimov could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Vos has cracked it and Efimov is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Vos!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Tom Vos!
A very excited looking Tom Vos rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
