The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Nelson finds it's way through Henshaw's defenses.

It looks like Hank Henshaw has been cut.
Nelson throws a body shot but no joy.
Nelson misses with a double jab

and Henshaw counters with a nice double leg into side control. Nelson won't be happy with that.

Henshaw looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Henshaw is trying to get an arm triangle but Nelson is defending well.

Henshaw is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Nelson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Nelson prevents Henshaw from improving position.

Henshaw wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nelson keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Henshaw is trying to ground and pound but Nelson uses the momentary lack of control by Henshaw to regain half guard.

Nelson is kicking away at Henshaw from the bottom - trying to push off and stand up. Henshaw grabs hold of a leg and drops back for a heel hook! The two fighters roll across the mat, with Nelson trying to push Henshaw off... Nelson taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.
