Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lyoto Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Sagat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machida comes to the cage accompanied by For Whom The Bell Tolls. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 39 - 46 - 1, fighting out of New York, Lyoto Machida!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Victor Sagat!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Reed Andrews and John Roberts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sagat scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Machida misses with a few strikes there.
Sloppy strikes from Sagat. Those never looked like landing.
Machida takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Machida throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Machida tries a head kick but it misses.
Sagat fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Machida lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sagat circles away quickly and effectively.
Sagat with a hook.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Machida scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Sagat moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Machida is rocked!
Machida throws a nice looking combination but Sagat bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sagat is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Machida swinging wildly here.
Sagat cracks Machida with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Machida tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Sagat pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Machida is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Victor Sagat!
A relieved looking Victor Sagat thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
