Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Silas Floyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Odubajo Gaye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Odubajo Gaye will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Silas Floyd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Odubajo Gaye!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Floyd tries to keep at a distance but Gaye has taken the fight into the clinch.

Floyd has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Gaye clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Gaye manages to reverse the position and now he's in Floyd's guard. Nice work there by Gaye.
Gaye wants to control from the top but Floyd keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Floyd has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Floyd not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Gaye content to stall in guard here.
Floyd might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
It looks like Gaye might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gaye wanted to stand there but Floyd had control of the position.
Floyd being controlled here, momentarily.
Floyd pulls Gaye in to control the position.
Gaye wants to control from the top but Floyd keeps moving.
Gaye wants to stand but Floyd is controlling his posture from full guard.
Floyd wants to stand and escape but Gaye is having none of it.
Floyd seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Gaye throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Floyd changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
A jab lands there for Gaye.


It looks like Silas Floyd has been cut.
Gaye misses with a jab, cross combination.
Floyd is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Gaye moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Odubajo Gaye!
Odubajo Gaye decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
