The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ithome tries to bum rush Piana with a series of wild strikes but Piana uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Piana misses with a body shot.
Piana's coach down at FORBIDDEN VOILENCE WARRIORS was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Piana's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Ithome misses with a jab, cross combination.
Piana connects with the punch.
Piana avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ithome displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Piana throws out the jab.
Ithome doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Ithome lands a two punch combo.
Piana cracks Ithome with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Piana is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Ithome like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Ithome from another fist facial!
