PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Garik Andonian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Vandeberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Garik Andonian!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Christian Vandeberg!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Radbod Blank.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vandeberg scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Andonian throws a leg kick but Vandeberg checks it.
Vandeberg throws a hook to the side of Andonian's head but Andonian sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Andonian moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Andonian tries to land a body kick
and Vandeberg connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Garik Andonian has been cut.
A big left from Vandeberg misses.
The fighters circling - Vandeberg throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A slapping leg kick lands for Andonian.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Andonian lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Vandeberg has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Vandeberg and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Vandeberg misses the jab.
Andonian thumps Vandeberg with a low kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vandeberg throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Andonian will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Vandeberg smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Andonian switches off momentarily and Vandeberg cracks him with a monster right hand! Andonian topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Vandeberg dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Vandeberg!
