The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Cropp.
Cropp takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Quaid throws a nice outside leg kick.
Quaid tries to clinch up.
Cropp throwing a counter right hand but Quaid manages to avoid it.
Cropp tests Quaid's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Cropp misses with a lunging right hand
and Quaid counters with a right hand to the body.
Quaid connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Cropp's hands.
We've been informed that Quaid has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Quaid steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cropp.
Cropp misses with a hook
and Quaid counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Quaid throws a body punch but Cropp moves out of range.
Quaid defending well as Cropp loads up on a big left hand.
Nice body punch from Quaid.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cropp looks up at the clock. Bad move! Quaid lands a right hand from hell, dropping Cropp. Quaid pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Douglas Quaid decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
