Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Jackson Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Wickes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan Wickes told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson Jr tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wickes swivels and escapes.
Wickes unleashes a big counter combination but Jackson Jr bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Jackson Jr scores with a nice body kick.
Jackson Jr shoots in for a takedown but Wickes shows good takedown defense.
Jackson Jr lands a nice leg kick that just misses Wickes's sensitive parts.
Jackson Jr throws a head kick but Wickes moves out of range.
Jackson Jr wants to clinch but Wickes slips to the side
and Wickes makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Wickes misses with a two punch combination.
Jackson Jr has closed the distance and engaged Wickes in a clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
