The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larson finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
We've been hearing reports that Larson has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Garbrandt swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Larson.

Larson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Garbrandt manages to avoid it.

Larson is trying to work for a kimura but Garbrandt is defending well.

Garbrandt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Larson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Larson has hold of Garbrandt's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Garbrandt manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Larson is working for a rear naked choke. Garbrandt is not defending it well and Larson has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Garbrandt refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Garbrandt's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
