Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cameron Diesel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blaze comes to the cage accompanied by Halo by Soil. Brandon Blaze has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brandon Blaze!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cameron Diesel!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blaze shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Diesel's guard.
Blaze looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Blaze wants to control from the top but Diesel keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diesel is looking to stand up but Blaze isn't so interested in that idea.
Blaze has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Diesel is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Blaze trying to control but Diesel is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Diesel not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Diesel is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Diesel lands strikes from half guard.
Diesel wants to lay and pray for a moment but Blaze keeps working.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Diesel lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Diesel is looking to take a break and control but Blaze is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Diesel stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Blaze to get to his feet.
Blaze takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Diesel is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Diesel will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Diesel throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Blaze stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Diesel throws a series of punches but Blaze moves out of range.
Diesel throws a combination. Blaze tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Diesel pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Diesel fails with an attempt to clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Diesel lands a nice looking kick to the body. Blaze takes a step back to recover.
Diesel throws a combination. Blaze tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Diesel misses with a few strikes there.
A combination from Diesel does no damage.
Diesel tries to clinch but Blaze is having none of it.
Blaze fails with a takedown attempt.
Diesel has his takedown stuffed

and Blaze moves into the clinch.
Diesel can't break the clinch.
Blaze wants a takedown but no success here.
Blaze wants to break free but Diesel has control.
Diesel wants to break free but Blaze has control.
Blaze on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Blaze gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Diesel.
Brandon Blaze has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cameron Diesel.
Blaze stops a takedown attempt from Diesel.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Blaze wants the takedown. Diesel is fighting it off but Blaze persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Diesel's guard against the cage.
Diesel has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Blaze wants to control from the top but Diesel keeps moving.
Diesel is looking to stand up but Blaze isn't so interested in that idea.
Blaze stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Diesel swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Diesel is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Blaze is controlling him.
Blaze trying to control the position from guard on top but Diesel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Blaze postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Diesel is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Blaze, into his guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Diesel is looking to stand up but Blaze won't let him.

Blaze is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Diesel working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Blaze's head.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Blaze is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Diesel would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cameron Diesel dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Blaze tries to keep at a distance but Diesel has taken the fight into the clinch.
Blaze is trying to drag Diesel to the mat but Diesel just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Diesel is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Blaze gets underhooks to prevent Diesel's takedown attempt.
Diesel wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Blaze has him pressed against the cage.

Diesel manages to pull guard.
Blaze might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Blaze would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Diesel looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Blaze in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Diesel pushes a forearm under Blaze's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Blaze is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Cameron Diesel!
