PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Craig Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drake Dusk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by Blood of Heroes!. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Drake Dusk!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Johnson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dusk.
Johnson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Dusk drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.


It looks like Drake Dusk has been cut.

Dusk wants the takedown. Johnson is fighting it off but Dusk persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Johnson's guard against the cage.

Dusk is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Dusk throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Johnson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Dusk postures up in Johnson's guard and throws a big left but Johnson blocks it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
