PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thracian Spartacus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Augustus Hercules (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hercules ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Spartacus moves away.
Hercules looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Spartacus throws a shot from downtown. Hercules moves away and avoids it.
Spartacus misses with the combination.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hercules. Spartacus does a little dance to reset his feet.
Spartacus seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Hercules uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Spartacus.
Nice shot lands for Hercules.
Spartacus throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Hercules counters with a three punch combo that has Spartacus backing up. Spartacus nods at Hercules to acknowledge the strikes.
Spartacus throws a combination. Hercules tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Spartacus moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Nice straight punches there by Spartacus. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Spartacus.

Hercules throws a leg kick
and Spartacus counters with a series of strikes. Hercules will be more careful next time no doubt.
Spartacus rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hercules moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Spartacus lands a right hook to the body.
Spartacus jabs Hercules to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Spartacus works Hercules's body with a nice hook.
Spartacus misses the shot to the body.
Spartacus connects with a body shot that sends Hercules's belly button to the back.
Spartacus throws a one two combo.

Hercules is rocked!
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Spartacus changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Hercules is still on wobbly legs! Can Spartacus finish him?

Spartacus grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Hercules takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Spartacus cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

After winning the bout, Thracian Spartacus thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
