Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Malachi Leatherwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazekage Kuro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Malachi Leatherwood has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Malachi Leatherwood seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Leatherwood has Kuro up against the cage in a clinch.
With the fighters up against the cage, Leatherwood throws an elbow but misses.

Leatherwood manages to break the clinch.

Kuro bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Kuro thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Kuro tries for a kimura but Leatherwood is defending well.

Kuro wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Leatherwood, who protects the arm well.

Kuro looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Leatherwood knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kuro on the ground.

Leatherwood got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kuro has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Leatherwood has managed to get both his arms back between Kuro's legs - danger averted.

Leatherwood decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Kuro shoots in for a double leg but Leatherwood sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kuro tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Leatherwood defends well and Kuro ends up having to push Leatherwood into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Malachi Leatherwood has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kazekage Kuro.
Leatherwood lunges at Kuro with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kuro's hand.
Kuro shoots in and drives through. Leatherwood sprawls well.

Kuro shoots in looking for a takedown. Leatherwood tries to sprawl out of it but Kuro keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Leatherwood manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Leatherwood lands a big right hand that sends Kuro crashing to the mat! Leatherwood stays standing though and waves Kuro back to his feet!

Kazekage Kuro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Leatherwood throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Kuro is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
