Austin with a lazy takedown attempt

and Shamrock decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Austin's guard.
Shamrock definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Shamrock slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Shamrock stands up and beckons Austin to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Steve Austin has been cut.
Austin takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Austin goes for a double leg but Shamrock avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Shamrock continues to drive forward.
Shamrock feinted with a counter takedown.

Shamrock drops Austin with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Austin looks back up at him and smiles so Shamrock waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Austin is rocked!

Crack! Shamrock connects with the perfect overhand right and Austin falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Shamrock!
