Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Howard. Those never looked like landing.
Howard lands a left and a right that send Key crashing to the mat, dazed. Howard thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Nelson Key has been cut.
Howard throws a right hand that Key ducks under and follows up with a left that Key also avoids with ease.
Key clinches up with Howard and pushes him back against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Howard ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Howard no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Key engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Key preventing the sweep.
Howard controls Key momentarily but Key frees himself.
Key wants to get up but he can't break Howard's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Key slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Key landing some decent shots from guard.
Howard wants to stand and escape but Key is having none of it.
Howard doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Key fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Howard shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Key is not content to let Howard control the position.

Key could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Key regains full guard. Nicely done.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Howard won't allow Key to sweep him here.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Howard will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A little feinted left hand from Key on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Howard clinches up with Key and pushes him back against the cage.
Key misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Howard.
Key breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Key drives through and clinches with Howard against the cage.

Howard throws a left and a right that both miss
and Key cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Howard gets in close and tags Key with a short punch that almost sends Key to the mat! Oh Key is in big trouble! He turns his back on Howard, trying to create some distance but Howard rushes him, striking wildly and Key goes down! The referee tackles Howard into the cage to end the fight! Howard is one violent man!
