Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chad Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davin Gunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gunter is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Black. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Davin Gunter!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunter avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Gunter closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hart circles away.
Hart has a takedown stuffed.
Hart just misses with a punch to the body.
Gunter misses with a takedown attempt - Hart sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Gunter feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Gunter has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hart is proving hard to escape from.

Gunter had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hart is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Gunter Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hart's back instead.

Hart turns into Gunter and is now in his guard.
Hart stands up over Gunter, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Hart is pushing down on Gunter's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gunter is fighting to maintain full guard but Hart has managed to sneak the leg through.

Gunter is looking for a sweep. Hart is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

and Gunter counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Gunter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hart manages to avoid it.
Davin Gunter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gunter throws a right and a left that Hart avoids nicely.

Gunter cracks Hart with an open hand slap.
Hart throws a body punch but Gunter moves out of range.
Chad Hart is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and Hart counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Gunter!

This one could be over very soon! Gunter goes limp - he's gone! Hart jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
