The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Romanoff, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Romanoff looks to score with a jab to the body but Hodge is just out of range.
Romanoff scores with a three punch combo!

It looks like Mose Hodge has been cut.
Romanoff misses with a straight left.
Romanoff misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Romanoff tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hodge paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Romanoff rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hodge moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Hodge counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hodge is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Hodge is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Romanoff is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hodge is controlling him.
Hodge postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Hodge keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Romanoff's head.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Romanoff is pressed up against the cage. Hodge has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Romanoff down to the mat. Romanoff avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

A telegraphed right hand from Romanoff misses the target.
Hodge looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Romanoff looks to score with a jab to the body but Hodge is just out of range.

Hodge will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

As Romanoff looks to move away, Hodge throws a big counter combo but Romanoff just gets out of the way.

Hodge shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Romanoff throws a series of punches but Hodge moves out of range.

Hodge appears to be looking for a big counter.
Romanoff connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Hodge tumbling to the canvas! Romanoff pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Hodge was done - good stoppage!
