The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Steve Montenegro and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jabbar displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Mnemonic shoots in but no luck this time.
Jabbar closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Mnemonic is not content to let Jabbar control the position.
Mnemonic throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Mnemonic sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Jabbar is keen to just control but Mnemonic is a slippery customer.

Mnemonic goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Jabbar has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Mnemonic but great work by Jabbar.
