Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Elisha Reilly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eric Caballero!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Caballero drives through and clinches with Reilly against the cage.
Reilly goes for a takedown attempt but Caballero pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Reilly closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Caballero is trying to force a seperation but Reilly has the dominant position.

Caballero pulls guard effortlessly.
Caballero controlling the position.
Reilly tries to stand but Caballero is controlling from the bottom.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Reilly decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Caballero darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Reilly is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Caballero pulls his head out easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Caballero is controlling the pace.
Caballero tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Reilly trying to control but Caballero postures up.
Reilly really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Caballero is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Reilly is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Caballero stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Reilly gets caught napping as Caballero dives in and scores a takedown. Reilly manages to retain guard.


Reilly is rocked!
Caballero is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Caballero wants to stand but Reilly has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Caballero engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Reilly is trying to keep Caballero in close.
Caballero stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Reilly swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Reilly preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Caballero forces Reilly back against the cage and clinches.

Caballero's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Caballero closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Reilly's guard.
Reilly wants to sweep but no luck.
Reilly manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Caballero manages to get himself to full guard.


Reilly stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Caballero clinches up with Reilly and pushes him back against the cage.
Reilly goes for a takedown attempt but Caballero pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Caballero shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Reilly manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Oh Reilly is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Reilly fails with the takedown.
Reilly seems to have got his legs back now.
Caballero throws a combination that misses
and Caballero takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Caballero uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Reilly has time to react.

Reilly shoots in and bounces Caballero off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Caballero manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Caballero has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Reilly tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Caballero just stands there and leans against the cage.
Caballero wants to break free but Reilly has control.
Caballero gets underhooks to prevent Reilly's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Elisha Reilly. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Reilly is trying to pull guard but Caballero turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Reilly tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Caballero gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Reilly regains guard.

Caballero slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Reilly pulls Caballero in close to prevent any damage.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Caballero controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Caballero stands and throws Reilly's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Reilly is not content to let Caballero control the position.

Caballero bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Reilly wants to control but Caballero postures up.

Eric Caballero showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Reilly fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Caballero avoids it really well and circles away.
Caballero doesn't manage to clinch there - Reilly circles away.

Caballero shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Reilly is trying to defend but Caballero finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Reilly tries to score a power double leg takedown but Caballero sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Reilly somewhat.

Caballero looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Still in half guard, Caballero seems content to control.

Caballero escapes and gets back to his feet.
No luck for Reilly with that takedown attempt.

Reilly avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Caballero shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Reilly is trying to defend but Caballero finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Caballero has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Caballero dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Caballero has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Reilly shoots in for a takedown but Caballero shows good takedown defense.
Caballero misses with a head kick.

Reilly gets tackled into the cage by Caballero. Caballero maintains the clinch.
Reilly drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Caballero is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Caballero has Reilly pressed against the cage.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Reilly tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Caballero has hold of one of Reilly's legs. Reilly is fighting the takedown attempt but Caballero gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Caballero's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Eric Caballero comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Caballero has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
