The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Takada throws out a powerful jab.
Hughes lands a jab-cross combination.
No luck for Hughes with that takedown attempt.
Takada has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Hellfire Antechamber in the buildup to the fight.
Hughes throws an off balance right hand
and Takada counters with a nice uppercut.
A head kick misses from Hughes.
A jab lands there for Takada.
Hughes is rocked!

and Takada connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hughes is still on wobbly legs! Can Takada finish him?

and Takada counters with a huge left! Hughes is in big trouble! He's backing up but Takada isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Hughes from any more damage. A dominating finish by Takada!
