These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Boarigh changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bay looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Bay pushes Boarigh away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Boarigh gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Boarigh stands up.

Boarigh decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Boarigh is controlling the pace.
Bay wants to get back to his feet.
Boarigh takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Boarigh misses with a hook. Bay ducked under it nicely.

Bay throws an uppercut from hell that sends Boarigh clean off his feet! He's out cold! Bay stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
