King has McGregor up against the cage in a clinch.
King lands a right hand.

McGregor's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

McGregor tries for a takedown but King manages to get underhooks.
Nice body punch from King.
McGregor looks winded!
King lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
King lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
King lands a hook to the side of the head.
King lands a hook that snaps the head of McGregor backwards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
King drops McGregor onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! McGregor is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
McGregor is rocked!
King lands a body shot in the clinch.
McGregor is still on wobbly legs! Can King finish him?
King pushes McGregor against the cage. King is working some dirty boxing. King pushes off with a quick right hook! McGregor goes down! McGregor tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! King moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Golden King!
Golden King took his opportunity to call for a title shot in his post fight interview.
