Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kern Dignity (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harris has chosen Not again - You all ready dropped? as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Harris throws a low kick but Dignity moves out of range easily.

Harris throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Harris misses with an attempted mid kick.

Dignity is looking to counter punch.
Harris swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Dignity wants to clinch up but Harris keeps it at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dignity fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Harris sprawls well initially but Dignity persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Dignity lands a nice short elbow.

Dignity has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dignity connects with a nice short shot to Harris's temple.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Harris throws a right hand that misses
and Dignity counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Harris drops his hands momentarily and Dignity takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Dignity looks to land a combination but Harris avoids it well.

Harris takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Harris ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dignity moves away.

Dignity gets the takedown into side control.
Dignity lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Harris down.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Harris tries to improve position but can't.
Dignity has knee on belly momentarily but Harris bucks him off and regains half guard.

Harris is looking for a sweep. Dignity is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Harris pulls Dignity in close to prevent any damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Harris misses with a hook. Dignity ducked under it nicely.
It looked like Dignity was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Harris.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Harris.

Nice uppercut lands for Harris. That snapped Dignity's head back.

Harris throws a powerful right kick. Dignity tried to block low but the kick was high! Dignity was taken right off of his feet! Harris jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
