The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gray tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Blodell swivels and escapes.
Blodell tries to clinch up but Gray circles away and keeps his distance.

Gray bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Gray is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Blodell is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
