The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Esposito stuffs the takedown.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Haarmann.
Haarmann dives in for a single leg takedown but Esposito sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Esposito lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Esposito throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Haarmann sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Haarmann shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Esposito pinned against the cage. Esposito gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Haarmann moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Esposito throws a series of punches but Haarmann moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Esposito tries to bum rush Haarmann with a series of wild strikes but Haarmann uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

It looks like Esposito has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Esposito is looking to slow Haarmann down with leg kicks.
Esposito jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Haarmann chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Esposito can pounce on him.
Esposito keeps Haarmann at a distance using the push kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Haarmann gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Esposito gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
