The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tron shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Plex but Plex pushes him off and we're back to square one.

It looks like Cripple Tron has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Tron ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Tron scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Perfect Plex will probably get the nod.

Tron lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Plex circles away quickly and effectively.
Plex shoots in for a takedown but Tron shows good takedown defense.
Tron lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Plex sprawling to the canvas. Tron follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Plex hang on?

Tron is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Plex is just riding it out for now. Tron eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Perfect Plex.
