Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Crane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barry Goodman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Goodman enables Crane to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Goodman manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Crane could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Crane won't allow Goodman to get back to his feet.
Crane not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Goodman is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Crane trying to control but Goodman is working from the bottom.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Crane engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Crane goes for a double leg but Goodman avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Goodman continues to drive forward.
A countering left hand to the body from Goodman misses.
Crane shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Goodman pinned against the cage. Goodman gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Goodman closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Goodman creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Goodman lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Crane backwards.
Goodman lands a left hand.
Goodman is defending well against a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kenny Crane. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Goodman has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Crane clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Goodman throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Crane!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Goodman wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Crane's closed guard. He's half up but Crane has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Crane pivots and extends the arm, Goodman falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Crane! Well done that man!
