Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Martin O Neill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). O Neill's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Kasabian - Fire. Alvarez has chosen The Enemy by Godsmack as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Alyssa Summers and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez throws a right and a left that O Neill avoids nicely.
O Neill tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Alvarez paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Alvarez swats away the attempt to clinch by O Neill.
Alvarez tries for a takedown but O Neill sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Alvarez looks to land a combination but O Neill avoids it well.
O Neill tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
O Neill tries to clinch there but Alvarez circles away.
Alvarez tries to bum rush O Neill with a series of wild strikes but O Neill uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Alvarez shoots in and bounces O Neill off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Alvarez avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Alvarez trying to stand up but can't free himself from O Neill's guard.
O Neill escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Alvarez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Alvarez gets to his feet - O Neill follows without any prompting.
O Neill throws a series of punches but Alvarez moves out of range.
Alvarez throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
O Neill tries to clinch but Alvarez moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
O Neill fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Alvarez manages to avoid it.
Alvarez swats away the attempt to clinch by O Neill.
O Neill shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
O Neill moves in looking to clinch but Alvarez pushes him off.
Alvarez stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
O Neill is breathing heavily.
O Neill shoots in and bounces Alvarez off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Alvarez is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst O Neill is controlling him.
Alvarez tries to land a sweep but no joy.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Alvarez can do anything to dispel that myth.
O Neill drops back looking for a leg! Alvarez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Alvarez manages to kick O Neill off! O Neill jumps back into Alvarez's guard.
Alvarez wants to stand and escape but O Neill is having none of it.
O Neill drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and O Neill jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Alvarez is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Alvarez is trying to keep O Neill in close.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
O Neill showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Alvarez.
O Neill throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Alvarez stalks O Neill and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into O Neill's face. O Neill staggers backwards, shaken.
Alvarez doesn't manage to clinch there - O Neill circles away.
Alvarez shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Alvarez showed some decent athleticism there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
O Neill slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Alvarez drops back looking for a leg! O Neill is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and O Neill manages to kick Alvarez off! Alvarez jumps back into O Neill's guard.
O Neill looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Alvarez is defending well. O Neill quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Alvarez has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! O Neill celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
