Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Simeon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wilmer Theodore Lynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lynn clinches up with Simeon and pushes him back against the cage.
Simeon is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Simeon throws an elbow that misses.

Simeon lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Simeon takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Simeon is working for a submission of some sort.

Lynn looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Simeon controlling the action here.
Simeon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lynn on the ground.

Simeon has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
This is a sustained period of stalling by Simeon.

Simeon is working for a kimura but Lynn is defending it quite comfortably.
Simeon keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Lynn tries to roll over but Simeon keeps him under control.

Simeon is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Lynn has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Simeon should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Lynn has tightened it up now! Simeon should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
