The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aragon throws a hook but Mosby avoids it easily.
Mosby throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Aragon thinks about countering with a head kick.
Aragon misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mosby.
Aragon on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Mosby thuds a left hand into Aragon's body.

Mosby closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Mosby tries to pass the half guard into mount. Aragon knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Mosby is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Aragon defends it well.
Aragon pushes Mosby off looking to stand but Mosby dives back in and keeps control.

Aragon is not content to let Mosby control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Aragon tries to kick Mosby off but Mosby keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Horrible takedown attempt by Mosby or perhaps it was just good defense by Aragon, which made it look bad.

Aragon throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mosby shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Aragon as he jumps to the side.

That was a close round but I would say that Diego Aragon will probably get the nod.

A little feinted left hand from Aragon on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Mosby chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Aragon can pounce on him.

Mosby drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Aragon dives on top into guard.

Mosby escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Aragon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Aragon would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Diego Aragon will probably get the nod.

Daniel Mosby has got the better of the ground game so far.

Mosby tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Aragon is not content to let Mosby control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mosby has an Americana. Aragon didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Mosby is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Mosby hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Daniel Mosby decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
Diego Aragon was interviewed post fight and said 'That sucked! '.
