Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Otha Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Wrigley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Otha Head!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jake Wrigley!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wrigley misses with a hook to the body
and Head counters with a two punch combo.
Head really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The fight stays on the outside here - Head looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Wrigley closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Wrigley blocks the strikes from Head.
Head defending against the ground and pound.
Head sneaks back into half guard.
Wrigley looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Wrigley is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Head moves into full guard.
Head wants to get back to his feet but Wrigley is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Head has a closed guard, preventing Wrigley from standing up.
Head is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Head will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Head bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wrigley's guard.

Wrigley is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Head is aware though and is defending well.
Wrigley is adopting a defensive guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wrigley throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Wrigley isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Head stacks Wrigley on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Head!
Head throws a strike aimed at the side of Wrigley's head but Wrigley avoids it well.

Wrigley throws a few rabbit punches from the bottom. Head was waiting for it though - now Wrigley's arm is in the perfect position for an arm triangle - he's tightening it up and Wrigley is forced to tap out before he takes a nap! Very clever counter grappling there from Head!
