Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cyril Makarenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Beck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Beck's choice of entrance music: Sepultura - Roots Boody Roots. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beck throws a body kick that misses.
Beck pivots, looking for a leg kick but Makarenko is out of range and Beck settles back down.
Makarenko was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Makarenko fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Beck has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Beck connects with a jab.
Makarenko lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
A head kick misses from Beck.

Beck lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Makarenko at a distance.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Makarenko changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
A bone on bone clash there as Makarenko blocks the leg kick.
Beck walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Makarenko checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Makarenko cracks Beck with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Makarenko misses with a few strikes there.
A cross from Beck lands.
Beck ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Makarenko moves away.
Makarenko throws a push kick but Beck slaps the foot to one side.
Beck on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Makarenko uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Beck has time to react.
Makarenko takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Beck works Makarenko's body with a nice hook.
Beck motions for Makarenko to come forward. Beck throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Beck fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Makarenko.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Makarenko misses with a head kick.
Nice uppercut lands for Makarenko. That snapped Beck's head back.

That has opened up Hans Beck's cut even more.
No joy there for Makarenko, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

It seemed like Beck was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Makarenko is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Beck Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Makarenko is out cold, face down on the mat!

A relieved looking Hans Beck thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
