Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cael Sanderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franco Aguera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aguera fails to land the takedown.

Sanderson shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Sanderson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Aguera wants to improve his position but Sanderson is controlling well.
Sanderson not doing much here.
Sanderson takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Cael Sanderson just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Franco Aguera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Sanderson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Sanderson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Aguera's guard.

Aguera has hold of Sanderson's hands but Sanderson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Aguera moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Aguera is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Sanderson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Aguera's head.

Aguera looks to move to half guard but instead Sanderson has passed into mount! Damn!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Aguera tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Sanderson controlling the pace for now.
Aguera is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Aguera is bucking up trying to escape but Sanderson cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cael Sanderson dominated that second round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


A slapping body kick lands there for Sanderson.

Aguera tries to keep at a distance but Sanderson has taken the fight into the clinch.

Aguera changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Sanderson fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Aguera takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Sanderson is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Aguera tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Sanderson presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Cael Sanderson just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Sanderson throws a sloppy head kick and Aguera moves out of range easily.
Franco Aguera is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sanderson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Aguera shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Aguera showed some decent athleticism there.
Aguera is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Sanderson reverses the position - he's now on top in Aguera's guard.
Aguera has momentary wrist control but Sanderson slips an elbow through the middle.

Aguera working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sanderson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sanderson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Aguera looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Sanderson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Sanderson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Sanderson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Aguera for as long as he can get away with.
Franco Aguera has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Sanderson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
