PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Warren Daren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Diggler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diggler comes into a darkened arena with his song building. War by Hed Pe kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Derek Diggler looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Daren closes the distance and pushes Diggler back into the cage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Diggler has gone for a leg lock! Daren slips out almost immediately though and dives into Diggler's guard.

Daren fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Diggler tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Daren bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Daren is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Diggler can do to turn this around?

Daren looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Daren ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Daren no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Warren Daren overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Daren is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Diggler defends well.

Daren working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Diggler doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Diggler manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That was a close second round but I would say that Warren Daren will probably get the nod.
