Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Anzhor Azhiev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brooks looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Azhiev working for submissions but it's allowed Brooks to get to half guard.

Azhiev is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Brooks pulls his head out easily.

Azhiev looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Brooks tries to pass the half guard into mount. Azhiev knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Azhiev is in trouble now - Brooks has advanced to mount!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Azhiev is trying desperately to improve position.
Brooks wants to take his opponent's back but Azhiev doesn't allow it.

Brooks is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Azhiev has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Brooks has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Azhiev taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Brooks doesn't care though - he's delighted!
