The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by Southbrook.

Morocco throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Southbrook has had enough of the clinch but Morocco keeps him there for the moment.

Southbrook escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A looping hook to the body misses from Morocco. Southbrook does a little dance to reset his feet.
Southbrook fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Morocco manages to avoid it.
Morocco walks into a left hand.
Southbrook throws a body shot but no joy.
Morocco motions for Southbrook to come forward. Morocco throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

and Southbrook counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Saiyan Southbrook has been cut.

Morocco misses with a body kick.
Morocco fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Southbrook has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Morocco lands a big head kick that sends Southbrook tumbling to the mat! Morocco takes a step backwards and waves Southbrook back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Southbrook clinches up with Morocco and pushes him back against the cage.

and Southbrook counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

A head kick by Morocco - that's a beauty! Southbrook is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Morocco can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
