The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Postaal avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Granes fails with the takedown
and Postaal counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Postaal.
Granes jumps guard but Postaal turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Granes is trying to break the clinch but Postaal has him pressed against the cage.
Granes pulls Postaal into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Granes is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Postaal is really struggling to control Granes but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Postaal wants to work for an arm triangle but Granes is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Postaal is stalling here. Granes is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Postaal seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Granes has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Granes's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
