Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robbie Burnside!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, DJ Money!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burnside doesn't manage to clinch there - Money circles away.
Money looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Burnside throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Money.
Burnside shoots in looking for a takedown. Money tries to sprawl out of it but Burnside keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Money manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Some wild striking there from Burnside.
Burnside shoots for a double leg takedown but Money sprawls well. He's pushed Burnside's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Money throws a sloppy head kick and Burnside moves out of range easily.
Robbie Burnside seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Burnside will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

It looks like DJ Money has been cut.

Burnside tries to score a power double leg takedown but Money sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Burnside somewhat.
Money replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Burnside blocks it well.
Burnside lands with a hook. Money tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Burnside closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Burnside thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Burnside wants to lay and pray for a moment but Money keeps working.
Burnside in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Burnside tries to clinch but Money is having none of it.

Burnside tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Money paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Burnside has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Money is working away from the top position though.

That was a close second round but I would say that Robbie Burnside will probably get the nod.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Burnside, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
