Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Maloski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephen Warner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stephen Warner will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Maloski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stephen Warner!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maloski throws a leg kick but Warner sees it coming and moves out of range.

Warner fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Maloski, pushing him back against the cage.
Warner gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Maloski.
Warner comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.


It looks like Jack Maloski has been cut.
Maloski goes for a takedown attempt but Warner pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Warner tries to clinch there but Maloski circles away.

Warner bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Maloski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

and Warner counters with a head kick. That will keep Maloski thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Warner moves into range and clinches up with Maloski.
Warner is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Maloski is defending well for now.
