Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eugene Ayers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ariel Harush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ariel Harush will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eugene Ayers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ariel Harush!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ayers gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Harush counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Harush scores with a three punch combo!

so Ayers counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Harush pushes Ayers off and scrambles back to his feet.
Harush shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ayers as he jumps to the side.
Ayers went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ayers gets tackled into the cage by Harush. Harush maintains the clinch.
Ayers tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Ayers is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Harush to keep the fight standing.

Harush has control of Ayers's left arm, preventing Ayers from doing any damage.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ayers accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Harush is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ayers defends well.

Harush is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Ayers working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Harush working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ayers doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ayers manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Harush wants to stand up but Ayers is controlling him.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Harush looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Ayers puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Harush is trying to control but Ayers manages to pass to mount!

Ayers takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Harush lands with a nice combination. Ayers backs away looking to recover.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ayers got a little sloppy there for a moment and Harush has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ayers has managed to get both his arms back between Harush's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ayers keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Harush's head.
Ayers would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Ayers postures up in Harush's guard and throws a big left but Harush blocks it.

Harush has his feet on Ayers's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Ayers throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Harush is defended easily by Ayers.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.



Ayers throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Harush tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ayers is in Harush's guard.
Harush is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Eugene Ayers overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Ayers is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Harush is just riding it out for now. Ayers eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Harush shoots in looking for a takedown but Ayers manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Harush's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Harush lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ayers circles away quickly and effectively.

Harush forces Ayers back against the cage and clinches.
Harush pushes off an throws an elbow but Ayers leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Ayers is trying to pull guard but Harush has him pressed against the cage.

Ayers jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Harush walks away with a smile on his face. Ayers gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Harush closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Harush tries to pull guard but Ayers won't allow it.

Ayers drags the fight down to the ground.
Ayers with a couple of shots from the bottom there - nothing Harush can't handle though.
Ayers throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Ayers is trying to control the position but Harush postures up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Harush wants to control from the top but Ayers keeps moving.
Ayers is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

I think Harush has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
