Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Faustino Ashley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kwik Silver!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silver moves out of range of the body kick from Ashley.
Silver closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ashley to the mat! Ashley manages to get full guard.
Ashley being controlled here, momentarily.
Ashley working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Silver doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Silver manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Silver stands and steps away. Ashley gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Ashley on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Ashley fails with the takedown
and Silver counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Ashley manages to escape and get back to his feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Silver misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Silver drives through with a takedown into Ashley's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Ashley has his feet on Silver's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Silver gets a double leg takedown into Ashley's guard.

Oh Ashley is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ashley has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Silver is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Ashley.
Ashley tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Silver presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Ashley is breathing heavily.
Silver connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Ashley is working to get back to half guard.
Silver looking to control and managing it successfully.
Silver working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Ashley looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Silver! Submission of the night perhaps?
