The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alavaara takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Law throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Alavaara's waist but Alavaara gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Law off to one side.
Law shoots in but Alavaara avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Law throws a front kick that sends Alavaara stumbling back into the cage.

Alavaara cracks Law with a big right hand and Law goes down!

Law is rocked!

Alavaara wants to pass the guard but Law is keeping the position.

Law working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Alavaara doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Alavaara manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Alavaara makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Alavaara misses with a two punch combination.
Alavaara throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Law.
Alavaara dips to his left and cracks Law with an uppercut!
Alavaara drops Law with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Law! Alavaara dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
