Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez with a lazy takedown attempt
and Aki counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Perez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Perez swinging wildly here.
Perez is trying hard to land a takedown here. Aki sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Aki throws a good cross that connects.
Perez looks winded!
Aki uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Perez.

Perez is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aki swats away the attempt to clinch by Perez.
Perez misses with an attempted mid kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Perez's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Aki connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Perez scrambles back to his feet.
Aki lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Perez takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Aki lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Perez closes the distance but Aki moves to the side
and Aki counters with a stiff right hand.
Aki fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Perez on the side of the head.
Perez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Aki's waist but Aki gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Perez off to one side.
Blue Aki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucas Perez.
Perez drops his hands momentarily and Aki takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Perez takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Aki lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Aki dips to his left and cracks Perez with an uppercut!

Perez walks into a jab.
Perez takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Aki swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Perez.

Perez is rocked!
Aki pounces like a tiger and cracks Perez with a vicious hook! Perez is down but not out! Aki follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
