Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carl Moon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Landon Stow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carl Moon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Landon Stow!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stow bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Moon is looking to reverse the position.
Moon wants to get back to his feet but Stow drags him back down.
Stow scoring with punches from side control.
Stow is looking to take a break and control but Moon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Stow is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Moon has escaped the position, nice work there.

Moon bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Stow is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Stow connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Stow tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Moon manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Moon was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stow closes this distance looking for a takedown but Moon circles away.

Moon wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Moon could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Stow slaps away a takedown attempt from Moon, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Moon jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Stow is looking to clinch but Moon is avoiding it.

Moon is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Stow pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Stow has Moon pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Moon manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stow stands up and beckons Moon to join him on the feet.
Stow shoots in looking for a takedown but Moon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stow's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Moon seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Moon tries to sprawl but Stow drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Moon has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Stow is working away from the top position though.

Stow is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Moon has managed to free his arm - good work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stow lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Moon is refusing to be controlled, as Stow sits in half guard.
Stow prevents Moon from standing back up.
Stow is trying to control. Moon wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Moon moves into full guard.
Stow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Stow passes Moon's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Moon works his way to full guard. Good work.
Moon not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Moon is breathing heavily.
Stow trying to control but Moon is working from the bottom.
Moon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Stow darts in and clinches Moon up against the cage.
Stow drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Moon gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Moon tries to break free but Stow pushes him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stow looking to hit a scissor sweep but Moon is one step ahead there.

Moon trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Moon is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Moon decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Stow, up you get!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Stow lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Moon shoots for a takedown but Stow saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Stow is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Stow changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Moon looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Moon is looking to reverse the position.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Stow is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Moon knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Landon Stow comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Stow has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
