Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Trevor Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joaquim Branco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Trevor Hall has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Trevor Hall seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Branco closes the distance and clinches.
Branco tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hall smiles and moves away.

Branco rushes Hall and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
A right hook to the body lands for Branco.
A short right from Branco on the inside.
Branco drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Branco with an attempt at a knee that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hall takes a shot to the head.
Hall really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Branco lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Hall wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Branco is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Hall is defending well.
Trevor Hall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joaquim Branco.
Hall avoids a wild elbow strike from Branco.
Branco lands with a light punch inside.

Hall is rocked!
Branco dips a shoulder and cracks Hall with a mighty uppercut! Hall falls back against the cage and Branco unloads with a barrage of strikes! Hall is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Branco screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
