Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nunez slaps away a takedown attempt from Stauart, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Crunch! Nunez slams his shin into Stauart's torso.

Nunez closes the distance and clinches.

Nunez breaks from the clinch.
Stauart shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Nunez sprawls well. Nunez wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Stauart gets slowly back to his feet.

Stauart moves into the clinch.
Stauart has had enough of the clinch but Nunez keeps him there for the moment.

Stauart shoots in looking for a takedown. Nunez tries to sprawl out of it but Stauart keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nunez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Nunez moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Nunez buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stauart tries to free his leg and advance position but Nunez is retaining full guard.

Nunez wants to get back to his feet but Stauart is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Nunez is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Nunez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Nice shot lands for Nunez.

Stauart clinches.

Stauart is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Nunez can't fight it off and eventually Stauart manages to take the fight to the floor. Nunez looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Nunez wants to stand up but Stauart is controlling him.
Stauart is looking to work some ground and pound but Nunez has wrist control.

Oh Stauart is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters circle, before Nunez throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Stauart's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Nunez lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
