Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex MacAndrew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zoo Zoo Buu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buu has chosen Asian Entrance as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alex MacAndrew!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Zoo Zoo Buu!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Buu fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging MacAndrew to the ground. Buu is now in MacAndrew's guard.
MacAndrew keeping moving, preventing Buu from controlling successfully.
Buu looking to sit in guard and control but MacAndrew gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

MacAndrew controlling from the top position.
MacAndrew's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Buu seems keen to control MacAndrew's posture.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Buu is trying to control the position but MacAndrew postures up.
MacAndrew controls from within his opponent's guard.
Buu controls MacAndrew momentarily but MacAndrew frees himself.
MacAndrew is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Buu is looking for a triangle but MacAndrew pushes his legs off easily.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Buu is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Buu throws a nice head kick!
Buu tries to clinch up but MacAndrew circles away and keeps his distance.

Buu looks winded!
Buu moves out of range of the strikes.
Buu feints the counter takedown.
Buu misses with a takedown attempt - MacAndrew sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
MacAndrew moves into range and connects with a jab.

It looks like Zoo Zoo Buu has been cut.

Buu throws a lazy head kick
and MacAndrew counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Buu prevents a body shot from MacAndrew.
MacAndrew digs a right hand into Buu's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Buu's gas tank.

MacAndrew breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nice uppercut there from MacAndrew.
Buu leaves his chin hanging out and MacAndrew seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Buu crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

After the fight, Alex MacAndrew was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
