Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bas Rutten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Marley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marley has chosen Welcome to Jamrock as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marley shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rutten but Rutten pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Marley darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Marley wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rutten keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Marley is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rutten sees it coming and defends easily.
Marley is tying to control. Rutten wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Rutten is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Marley is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Rutten blocking the ground and pound attempt from Marley.
Marley is looking to advance position but Rutten won't allow it.
Marley prevents Rutten from improving his position.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Rutten fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Marley checks it well.
Rutten misses with a body kick.
Marley slips a jab and a cross from Rutten.
Rutten stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Marley looks for a takedown but Rutten sprawls well.
Bas Rutten is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rutten thuds a left hand into Marley's body.
A head kick misses from Rutten.
Rutten lands a nice shot to the body.
Marley looks gassed!
Rutten connects with the punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Marley shoots in but Rutten avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bas Rutten has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damian Marley.
Rutten moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Marley goes down! Can Rutten finish him!?

Marley is rocked!

Rutten decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Marley, up you get!
Marley is still on wobbly legs! Can Rutten finish him?
Rutten fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Marley out cold! Brutal finish!
