The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haug walks into a jab.
Haug throws a series of punches but Cheryshev avoids them all with ease.
Cheryshev lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Haug shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Cheryshev counters with a straight right hand.
Cheryshev wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Haug on the wrong end of a nice jab.
It looks like Ulf Haug has been cut.
Haug has his takedown stuffed
and Cheryshev counters with a crisp right hand that drops Haug! Cheryshev lets Haug back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Haug is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Cheryshev engages and cracks Haug with a massive lead left hook - Haug tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Cheryshev is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Yuri Cheryshev!
